Lower eyelid lift

A more noticeable appearance of dark circles and bags under the eyes is caused by stress, lack of sleep and too little exercise, but it is still part of the natural ageing process of the area around the eyes. But if they make a face look generally tired, unhappy or much older than it actually is, it can have both aesthetic and psychological consequences, as the facial expressions no longer reflect your inner agility. This contradiction can be resolved by a lower eyelid lift: the radiance of your eyes will once again be aligned with your young, relaxed spirit.

Top-rated treatment

On Jameda, Germany's largest rating portal for doctors, our services were given the overall top score of 1.0 by over 140 patients.

Inconspicuous healing

Precise incisions hidden in the eyelid heal very inconspicuously after the operation – a scar is only visible on close inspection.

Minimally invasive surgery

The treatment takes around 25 minutes per eyelid and is carried out on an outpatient basis. However, if the lower eyelids are lifted at the same time, we recommend an overnight stay.

Everything you need to know about lower eyelid lift

Excess skin around the lower eyelids quickly leads to a tired and exhausted appearance. In the advanced stages, bags under the eyes can develop, making the face look much older. This is usually due to fatty tissue under the eye, which is sharply defined at the point of attachment of the lower eyelid septum to the bone (so-called arcus marginalis).

During the lower eyelid lift, the fatty tissue is redistributed to create a soft transition in this area. This means that only a small amount of skin has to be removed. The result looks natural, and as little pull as possible is exerted on the lower eyelid. To effectively prevent the lower eyelid from protruding from the eyeball, the lower eyelid lift is often combined with a muscular suspension on the side. This effectively prevents the formation of a so-called "watery eye".

If desired, the lower eyelid lift can be combined with an upper eyelid lift. I will be happy to explain all the details in a personal consultation.
