INTRODUCTION

Upper eyelid lift

The eye area contributes significantly to the way a person is perceived. An alert and open gaze is essential for a positive facial expression and can open many a door. But when life gradually leaves its mark, the area around the eyes eventually starts to look tired and weak. An upper eyelid lift offers the opportunity to permanently change the appearance of your eyes for the better and thus increase your quality of life.

Top-rated treatment

On Jameda, Germany's largest rating portal for doctors, our services were given the overall top score of 1.0 by over 140 patients.

Inconspicuous healing

Precise incisions hidden in the eyelid heal very inconspicuously after the operation – a scar is only visible on close inspection.

Minimally invasive surgery

The treatment takes around 25 minutes per eyelid and is carried out on an outpatient basis. However, if the lower eyelids are lifted at the same time, we recommend an overnight stay.

Details

Everything you need to know about upper eyelid lifts

The eyes are a key element in a person's facial expression and thus in the aesthetics of the face as a whole. Excess skin in the area of the upper eyelids can easily make you look tired even though you are actually well-rested.

The upper eyelid lift restores the openness and radiance of your gaze by means of a low-impact procedure. By removing the excess skin and accentuating the eyelid crease, the lids become more visible again – this makes your look and facial expression as a whole more open and fresher.

The scar is positioned in such a way that it lies in the fold of the eyelid and is therefore almost invisible after surgery. The stitches can be removed after only 8 days, so you can quickly return to social life. If desired, the procedure can also be combined with a lower eyelid lift.

I will be happy to explain all the details in a personal consultation.

  • Duration of the operation: around 1 hour
  • Type of anaesthesia: Local anaesthesia with or without twilight sleep
  • Stay: Outpatient or overnight stay – naturally, it depends on your wishes
  • Removal of the stitches after 8 days
  • Check-ups take place 1, 8 and 14 days after the operation.
  • Further appointments can be arranged upon request.

Do not take blood-thinning medication such as Aspirin, ASA, Plavix, Marcumar, etc. for 14 days before a planned operation!
